Stephen Shearin is a web developer and graphic designer based in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. He believes in creating simple, stylish, yet accessible web sites using semantic XHTML for design and CSS for styling all of which conform and validate to World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and accessibility guidelines. "The creation of a site is not just the physical act of designing, it stems far beyond. Interaction between the client and designer is vital in forging strong working relationships between the two parties, ensuring high levels of quality and agreement."
Designing with a mass audience in mind, he incorporates Dreamweaver, Flash, Photoshop, and other software programs to create effective cross-browser and cross-platform sites.
